Feeling so lucky to have had the opportunity to meet many endangered Karner blue butterflies today. Such a little, beautiful thing flittering by. Also saw many other lovely pollinators 🦋🐝🌻

Feeling very nostalgic about all the snow this week - the piles next to the driveway are big enough for building tunnels, like my brother and I did as kids, and yesterday walking around UW’s campus, I had two wipeouts, taking me right back to my undergrad days of snowy walks to class

Anyone know what happened to this apple? Picked from a tree by yours truly about two weeks ago and then sat at room temp since. No other apples have cracked and not freezing temps.
