Here we go. I am living in the 🔵 (and damn proud of it), but stuck with this lousy representation. Dems have had big eyes on us, and all we can deliver is blue dot with horrible MAGA reps and senators. What can I do?(yes,calling her every week!)

Holiday with Gen Z kids. Sobering conversation - now what? Staying vocal and active.But generational gap in political leadership is HUGE. I will now work for term limits and age caps. Clinging to power is harmful for all of us. We need diversity of ages at all levels of public service.

My Christmas secret? I don’t take pictures of gift openings and gifts. It’s probably why there are some repeated gifts. But…each Christmas holds a space in my heart - my adult kids finally love the Christmas morning Jimmy Dean egg casserole. I am pretty simple that way. 🎄

The strange thing about a year of confusion and reflection, I don’t have any better answers at this point, but just sitting in the discomfort and learning to observe it has given me energy to take new steps.
