All those chilis... I don't think so. Masa maybe. But the meat has gone up in price. They deserve $8. I'd pay it for a good one.

Have you ever made tamales? Price the ingredients and the time and effort that goes into one batch.
The last batch I made took 6 hours.

My fingers are calloused from checking my blood sugar . That probably helps.

I don't really prick my fingers as much anymore which is good. I would have cried if I got blood on my bride project.

I mainly use for thicker needles and ribbons when it's hard to pull through. Saves my thumb.

I want to see as many as possible got to jail over this. I don't care if it's current or former presidents. And Noem and ICE for their horrible treatment of citizens and immigrants. That's the only thing that would give me joy right now.

He seems intent on destroying everything good. It's horrible.

Oldest is going to trade school which is surprisingly affordable. There also needs to be more trade schools geared towards women, I think .

One is joining ROTC to help pay for education. That's an option. I wonder if the hospitals programs will come back since there's a need. Kiddo was going to switch to associates degree program which is about a third of the cost . But long wait lists 😞
