70s & 80s music, new wave, classic cars, obscure music, retro stuff....(The irony isn't lost on me that despite my username, the car is a Suzuki Swift GTI)
I have TOCA for my PS3 from the PS1 game. Must be around 1998 and analogue controls just like Colin McRae Rally but it's fantastic fun!!

Fabulous little cars. Mine felt as quick as my MG Maestro. Just make sure the K series is looked after and you'll have so much fun.

Was thinking exactly the same as Andrew. Deaf people are able to read so this seems v odd unless like you say, it's the whole separate instructions thing and not explaining what's on the board

If memory serves was it in Kettering or Corby , somewhere like that?

I very nearly bought that Mondeo off the garage it was at Matt. I couldn't get down to get it.

I've had both..and I think both are peak BMW. Lovely smooth cars to drive.

Yeah did a full walk around. Everything seems fine. Needs a service and a new ABS cable but other than that...

This is very true Rich. It's definitely a heightened "what's that noise" thing going on !

I know what you mean...whether you work on it to then drive, or you buy unseen as I did today. Always very alert to anything going wrong on the drive afterwards. I bought a modern classic today and did a 330 round trip to collect it. Seller was a gent, journey home went smoothly and car is lovely.

So had some car troubles this last few days and have had to draft in a late replacement. Step forward Mr Ford Cougar....oh and it's the fancy one...2.5 V6. Immaculate and pics to follow.

My car has gone bang so like you Dan, I've had to invest in a new thing. Yours numberplate, mine an actual car! Still, that'll look jazzy on the Panda though!!

Hey chief. It's been a bit of a rubbish time here too. Too many things to mention. But there's always someone kicking around for a pint and a chinwag. So if you're ever stumped, you know where I am. Keep smiling my friend!

I'll definitely be making the trip.... absolutely love this. I lived in video stores back in the 80s and 90s so this will be a trip in every context!! Kudos to you Dave. Let the tech backlash commence!
January 13, 2026 at 11:29 PM
Or Mondeo Titanium X wheels 🤣 or even.... wolf race Voodoo wheels...from the 90s lol
January 12, 2026 at 12:39 PM

I liked Bowie regardless. Way better, in my opinion, than a lot of his contemporaries who shall remain nameless. 70s was amazing, 80s more commercial but no less listenable. In the 80s he had to claw money back after getting to the end of the 70s with nothing after accountant meddling. A true legend
