Yes, if you look back at a lot of the further maths questions from that era, they seemed to throw the marks around like confetti. Not so this time! Only 5 marks for that part c was really harsh, there was so much to do!

They obviously should have learned from George HW Bush and not make such promises which they can't be certain of keeping.

Very true, that is my error. I was referring to the leadership rather than the membership and did not make that clear.

With PR, Labour could be the largest party in a pretty stable governing coalition for a long time. But they would rather keep FPTP, have 100% of the power for a bit and then lose everything that they accomplish when the other side gets back in.
