I’ve learned this is what a mature man means by 50/50. It’s not going half on bills or a woman being a pseudo-provider. It’s about equal effort and intention, not placing all the responsibility on one partner in the relationship. But sharing in the investment and effort. And I’m here for it.
If I’m doing repairs then maybe help with the clean up, if I’m cooking then help me with the dishes, if I go grocery shopping then clear some space in the fridge, if I’m doing the laundry then help me fold the clothes, if I’m taking care of the bills then help organize the mail, etc.
