I’ll implore you to do some deeper research into vocaloid if you actually want to give it a go. I recommended FLAVOR FOLEY for some music by a great set of artists, the arguable ring leader JamieP being female (or maybe nonbinary? They’re she/they)

Other points: YOASOBI’s composer is a VocaP and now he works with a Real Life Female vocalist. Using a vocal synth is largely a choice made in the name of fitting in a genre and community… as is the case with all genres of music, I would argue.

It’s also okay to not like things before you understand them fully. MOST big producers, I would argue, use vocaloid banks as a type of instrument. Plenty of them can sing as well. See: PinocchioP often sings backing vocals to his bangers. Kenshi Yonezu started off as HachiP and his voice is stellar.

You seem to be conflating Japanese vocaloid with the more western songs/songs in English if this is your problem?
