This project will not benefit ordinary Mozambicans, delivering no development or energy access benefits. It will only benefit the balance sheets of the fossil fuel companies backing it.

Mozambique LNG is a human rights and environmental nightmare, associated with multiple massacres and potential emissions larger than the annual climate pollution of the entire European Union.
