No they don’t believe it should be six figures. People really have no idea how much work and strategy it takes to run these large non-profits because their idea of a “charity” is a small org they volunteered at in HS for national honor society

People think that because nonprofits are mission-oriented charitable organizations the people that lead them and work there are not supposed to get paid.

Newsflash: nonprofits are companies. What’s different is they don’t pay profits to shareholders.
