Their concerns are my own:
Prices.
Health care, particularly because they've paid for the 'extra' insurance beyond Medicare, and they are finding it harder to afford as they age.
Taxes on their already purchased asset; their home.
And everything is still Obama's fault. Which, you know...

Most people's experience of 'just being' is far different from yours (and mine).
Just spent a week in New Jersey with a few very different (from one another) people.
The things folks there were concerned about were different from one another's and did not even touch on actual civic politics.
