Yeah. It's not "great" but I love that goddess, Talonia, Luthic, Pale Night and Zuggomoty.

The key is playing with their lore and portfolio I think.

"Bashaba Blessed (insert object here)!" Anything blessed by the goddess of bad luck is bad luck. So people say it when something like their dice keeps coming up snake eyes.

Does this mean all your characters are "main characters/protagonists" or is it more like "here are different points of view until Bob reveals himself as the Charismatic Dragon King"?

Lol. Just finished reading Bad Dreams in the Night by Adam Ellis so I fanboy squealed seeing this.

Oh and definitely check out guides on how to do a consent checklist and a proper session zero.

Know the general plot line and character drives of your NPCs. This makes it easier to wing it when things go off the rails.

Also don't be afraid of going a bit off the rails. As long as you can swerve people back to the main plot down the line you're fine.

I LOVE Poe. He's one of my favorite authors. I think he's one of the first authors to make me have a nightmare. The Cask of Amontillado was a chef kiss, but the Raven I memorized for school and still adore.
