Chart Trek 1 and indeed Chart Trek 2 were new at 29 this week, peaking at 20 next week. Fad Gadget, aka Frank Tovey, went on to have two top 100 hits, both in 1984, but "I Discover Love" peaked at no.105. #OffTheChart #NoiseboxRadio

Gawd 'elp us, no new entries at all on the Artists Album Chart and only one on the Compilation Albums Chart: "Ware's The House" at no.15. It went all the way to no.2 on that chart, proving how bad things were at the start of 1990. #OffTheChart #NoiseboxRadio

The highest new entry at 36 on the album chart, "Once Upon a Time - The Singles", a rather meagre compilation of ten early tracks by Siouxsie & The Banshees, including this track "Mirage" which wasn't even a single. Still, the album gave them their first Gold record. #OffTheChart #NoiseboxRadio

The ironically titled "We Are The Clash" from "Cut The Crap", the 6th and final studio album by The Clash, although by this stage it was just Joe Strummer and the band's manager Bernie Rhodes making the records.
