I have seen way too many software teams sunk by people who were way too comfortable.

Never assume everyone shares your drive, your hunger, your desire to succeed. There are plenty of people who are comfortable doing what they’re doing, the way they’ve always done it and incentivising those folks is tough.

*try to convince you

Some people will shatter your heart into a million pieces and convince you it’s your fault. Those people are -not-your-people- cunts.

It’s a horrible experience and I dread my Mum having to do so nowadays.
