I think you should be able to call accept_event on the control and stop an InputEvent from propagating after you capture it.

A FogVolume with a fog shader can also be a nice easy built in way to do this, though you have to turn the froxel resolution up to get that level of detail.

Ironically the first big reactionary meltdown that I saw him have (way before his supposed "turn" to the right) was him screaming about Amy Winehouse directly after her death in 2011. We were mutuals before that and after I ran away from him as fast as I could.

Yeah, that is a good point. Maybe just "exclusiveFirst", though that's still clunky 🤷♀️

Surprisingly if a NN model isn't gigantic or non-local on a cloud server somewhere it can be a pretty responsive technology. There's plenty of hobbyists who have trained models to play Trackmania, for example - and things like DLSS use pre-trained models in real-time applications.

I think Forza used some amount of ML as well, or at least so they claim

Yeah, on thinking about it almost all game AI boils down to state machines/decision trees, that probably is a better term for it
