I think the older and more radical I become the less I care about "it could happen to you" appeals to emotion. even if it never happens to you, it happens to someone, and that matters. people should learn to care about others beyond the scope of themselves and engage in radical love.

I don’t recommend doing this since it’s disruptive to people who use screen readers (since that’s who alt text is intended for). I’ve seen ppl talk about how it’s frustrating to encounter alt text being used as a secondary caption instead of exclusively being used for image descriptions as intended
