Every time it rains,
You're here in my head.
Like the sun coming out.
I just know that something good is gonna happen,
I don't know when.
But just saying it could even make it happen!
Biome in a jar, day 5. This is a super close up. None of these critters are bigger than a grain of salt. There are thousands of critters in this jar, it's hard to imagine how many are in the lake. PS I am never swimming in a lake ever again! Some of these look frightening.

My day in 4 photos.
I love the fox on the sand dune during sunrise, be still my heart!

4 good things

My biome in a jar is doing much better than I imagined. Its a fun way to get my mind off of things.

I saw another new (to me) fox this morning.

My wife has an interview on Tuesday for a police dispatcher job. More pay, consistent hours.

Tomorrow is Friday!

Biome in a jar, day 3.
The water is starting to clear. I see a few things swimming around. I am hopeful it will work.

It's not great video as it was shot through the windshield. At one point they were about 30 yards away but they eluded being caught on video. A quick snippet of the bottlenose dolphins from today.

I made a loaf of bread using a new recipe. It is the softest bread I have ever made. It is so good.

I used my bread machine so it is a high loaf, not long like grocery bread.

It was quite intimate. As much as I love him, his voice was bad. I know the songs and could barely understand him. Nevertheless, it was a high energy show and my wife's first time seeing him.

The photo below was about 1995.

My last concert was a year ago. We saw Yellowman at a tiny, tiny venue here in a small town in Maryland called The Globe. The venue had a Jamaican themed menu that night, and it was the best kerk chicken, rice and peas I have ever had.

I started one of those biome in a jar projects from the water in the pond across the street. I added small plants, moss, and water to create a closed ecosystem that sustains itself through a natural water and nutrient cycle. I will see if it works or if I have to try again in the spring.

This is particularly relevant today. But then The Clash are always relevant.
