If you get hit by an avoidable mechanic, you get a stack of a buff that increases damage taken. Its incoming damage increase varies, but tends to be around 10-25% per stack, I think?

It's a shame physics collisions no longer kill you like this, because I love seeing ragdolls go flying. I have a few clips of my own from those.

all these Grasp of Avarice traps were too much fun to design. I remember tuning this catapult to be just the right speed that the intense physics impulse killed the player at the peak so their ragdoll would go flying 🤭
