You know how some people do marathons or ride their bike across country “for the experience?” This past week I had my back waxed. No one will ever see it or touch it but it was a heck of an experience.

True confession time. I used to look down my nose at bowling. Now, I wish I hadn’t. It looks like a good way to exercise and enjoy good fellowship. The shape I’m in doubt I could lift a ball.

I'm not a big sports fan. I don't know a lot of players' names or records or standings. I kinda enjoy watching them to help the time pass and it allows me to be sociable without anyone demanding data or footnotes.
I would read more but my vision is failing. Audiobook narrators are borrrrring.

I've made many bad decisions in my life resulting in bad outcomes either immediately or in the long term. All the self help gurus say to "let it go" or "don't live in the past" or any other number of soporific aphorisms. None of them make me feel optimistic or hopeful.

There must be a clause in the Aaron Rodgers contract to prohibit him from taking time off for injuries. He sat out most of the season with the Jets. I hope this is his last season. Way too old. Way too arrogant.
