Dad to adopted twins, husband, gay, software developer and quickly becoming a grumpy old man.
I genuinely hoped by now that the illegal migration act would have been challenged and struck down as being in direct contravention of our signatory to the refugee convention.

Grandiose galactic woo woo indeed. I only got just past him talking about the Alzheimer research and just thought this is bloody waffle, lines and lines of waffle. I was trying to find a grand vision befitting of his supposed intellect but it’s just a word salad. You surmised well.

My initial reaction to this was “Still selling arms to them though”. A step in the right direction no doubt but as ever from this government they seem to never quite go far enough. The verbal outrage never meets with reality.

Ahh yes, so bloody brilliant they’ve driven it to the edge of insolvency, top tier managers right there. The arrogance of the man is nauseating and the fact he thinks that they should be paying bonuses in the face of abject failure says all I need to know about him and his so called expertise.

What do you tend to use the wild garlic in? I have an absolute abundance of it in the woods at the back of my house but never actually picked any to use in cooking!

EV’s will be subject to VED, those registered after April 2025 will be £10 first year and £195 per year after that. Those registered between 2017-2025 will pay £195 a year. The expensive car supplement will also apply from April for cars over £40k, which is £425 a year.

Maybe there is a level of diplomacy at play that I just don’t understand but I find it frustrating that he won’t take a moral stand and call out the US/Trump for the appalling behaviour. Sod the “special” relationship, a good friend calls out bad behaviour.

I so agree. I’m a Labour member and I’m disillusioned with Starmer’s lack of ability to start building a narrative around the country they’d like to see. Their self imposed fiscal rules prevent them from doing anything revolutionary and the country needs a revolution!

That’s just not correct at all on both counts.

Very much so. I once had the pleasure of attending a get together with him as I was a Police Officer working in his constituency. He prefaced almost every answer with “I’ll give you the David Lammy response” as if his personality and role as an MP had very different character traits.
