@vettechdlove and Virg hosted a vendor table at the @ortws and @oregonsaf joint conference this week. Met many inspiring students with career goals in wildlife and forestry. We handed out business cards and stickers like hotcakes and talked with local folks from the watershed district south of us.

Earlier, today, a few Good Samaritans found a barred owl in distress in the water of Reed Lake on the @reedcollege campus. The raptor had slowly made it to land and the folks on scene called @birdallianceoregon.bsky.social for help. OCCRA was dispatched to shortly after.

I’ve never been called graceful or “soft” and sometimes that’s evident when using power tools. Alas, ALMOST all of your donations survive the drill process. Thank you as always for keeping us going!
