Dad, Gooner, bit of politics. Be nice?
We're in a bit of an attacking funk, let's hope it doesn't last too long. Defensively good and control was there, but we should be scoring more.

This is where Madueke is useful. He'll run at anyone, anywhere. Sometimes we need that bravery and lack of thought.

Didn't a Wolves player do that (or similar) against us and get a yellow?
December 20, 2025 at 6:06 PM
I agree. And even he is having a stinker (ish) at LFC. It's a difficult problem. The Havertz injury does not help!
December 18, 2025 at 9:57 PM
Yes, and it's definitely a positive that we're sharing the goals around. But the final step might be that one clinical finisher who can win a game on his own and get 25+ goals.

Sounds like injury central.

But any of those winning another trophy. Also, no thanks.

Rock, meet hard place.

This is is linked to the issue of our top scorer, after 16 PL games, has 4 goals. We need more, and need to be clinical / ruthless in crucial matches (e.g. Saturday).

Agree with this. I'll likely vote LD at the next election, due to the debilating constraints of FPTP, however if we were in a PR situation the Greens would today get my Vote. This is the first time I feel this way.

I just remember White playing well at CB v Liverpool at home last season. Will be interesting to see what they opt for on Weds.
December 8, 2025 at 7:48 AM
Are you surprised Ben White hasn't been at CB with timber at RB? Or at least that we haven't seen them rotate the position, given the extremities of playing RB in the modern game?
December 8, 2025 at 7:26 AM
It has been surprising that Norgaard hasn't had more time to contribute to the team. What was the point otherwise?
December 7, 2025 at 12:53 PM
Fair to say I don't understand the complexities of attempting to rejoin the CU and SM, but this is why Labour are being rejected on all sides. Rejoin is popular and a sure fire way to promote growth, so why appease the Brexit twats??
December 7, 2025 at 9:14 AM
What context or comparison is there? This night be normal? 🤷
December 6, 2025 at 11:39 PM
Why aren't we able to deliver these gut punches / killer blows? Seems rarely us in tight 50 / 50 games. 2 points from 3 away game we could / should have won. A result problem and the bottler narrative will persist.
December 6, 2025 at 2:30 PM
Which is weird. They might as well own their racism at this point, I don't think it will cost them any votes.
December 5, 2025 at 7:08 PM
This is why Labour need to stop appeasing the right. It will never be enough.
December 5, 2025 at 9:18 AM
He is a racist scumbag. But i am increasingly of the view that that is his appeal to those intending to vote Reform. The Trump playbook will see him through with much of our media complicit.
December 5, 2025 at 8:20 AM
In the UK right now - it will make him more popular. We’re in a bad place.
