sepermeru was named the gateway to the desert , hence set was largely worshipped there. there was a temple of nephthys built next to his own as well. but his temples were attacked where hers were not , when he was villified. his followers were pushed out.

a fun fact worth noting is that horus once stole set’s 🍒 and set stole one or both of horus’ eyes. his eyes represent the sun and moon , hence them being stolen signify eclipses. oftentimes thoth is an in—between for these two’s feuds and solves them.
