Watching your elderly Mum moaning in pain for several hours, at home and in hospital, has been a traumatic experience for both of us. Hopefully she feels better tomorrow. Auckland’s North Shore Hospital staff were massively overworked and very kind.

This is lovely Russell. My Mum is 91 and in hospital. I'm having to face the reality that one day (if not soon) I will be living in a new world in which she's not around - that will be an uncomfortable first for me. Not the same as your experience but your words still resonate to future me.
