There are some mornings where it's totally worth being out before the sun fully comes up. What a view.

This made me burst into tears. I planted a rose in the garden of an historic home when I was a teenager. It's not really important why, but knowing my rose is still there makes me feel special. Can you imagine how all the people who gifted the WH a new variety of rose feel? What a slap in the face.

More fun with pony beads and crochet. It looks like #skittles. (Taste the rainbow 🤭)

This is the bottom end of the first panel. I'm working on the second which will be sewn to this one to make a scarf.

Playing around with variegated cotton yarn (dark green and white) and some pony beads is really fun.

I am using this cord in Kumihimo (a technique to create braids that can be round or flat by using a Kumihimo disc or square). It is 1.5mm satin cording, so I've never tried to crochet (or knit) with it. It can look somethimg like this (the 16 strands below are 2mm Satin cord).

Looking forward to making some pretty accessories. Such pretty colors.

Took these a few years ago on a weekend trip with a friend in mid-November.

I love to crochet and create beautiful things.

I got lucky and found it.

The blanket is about over twin size. The 2nd photo shows more detail. I used RH Roll With It Melange in "Show Time" and "Hollywood" (the purplish stripes and border). I think I used almost 10 cakes.

I modified a paid pattern from Lil's Cozy Corner (Etsy).

I love the #beadstitch.
This is "Warlock" in #lionbrandyarn #mandala yarn. Soft, earthy colors in a super squishy stitch can be just what is needed on a cold, rainy day.
