also the music direction trend being shifted by whats popular is especially evident with all the anime/jpop licenses that iidx has been getting the last 2 styles or so now, that stuff keeps people who otherwise wouldnt play it something that they recognize

people also seem to hate anything being hard in the first place which is odd to me but w/e enjoy your slop i guess

you can make anything hard BUT the issue is appealing to the broadest amount of high end players and unfortunately people just have bad taste lol
