"we are looking holistically at our streets and implementing comprehensive plans to make them safer"
-@NYCMayor talking about the Schermerhorn Street Protected Bike Lane

The @BrooklynDA needs to lead by example.

Parking in the Johnson Street bike lane is dangerous and illegal.

The @NYC_DOT is aware this 1-block bike lane is a parking lot, but continues to refuse to add any real barriers.

Speaker Adams must choose between saving lives and saving parking spaces.

I hope she makes the right choice.

No plate? No problem! The @NYPD84Pct has figured out that they have 8 hours to respond to 311 complaints. Instead of fraudulently closing this ghost car complaint, they simply wait until their buddies has left for the day.

The @EdisonParkFast lot in Downtown Brooklyn is permanently closed. Hopefully it will be replaced with housing!

Who needs a cargo bike when you have a skateboard and a shopping cart.

Bike lanes are emergency vehicles lanes.

Instead of being stuck in gridlock, a fire truck driver was able to bypass motor vehicle traffic while responding to an emergency this morning.

How can we get this likely expired or fake @NYCSanitation placard off the streets?

Here are 4 reasons why Clinton St needs a protected bike lane.

The @nyc311 app separates illegal parking into civilian and @placardabuse categories, but only the civilian one lets you report illegal plate covers. The placard category doesn’t. Kind of tells you everything you need to know.

You have to cross the street, but there's a tractor trailer blocking the crosswalk. Which route are you choosing?
November 4, 2025 at 11:00 PM
The @NYC_DOT is installing traffic lights at the Willoughby & Duffield St intersection. This intersection is adjacent to a park and didn't even have a crosswalk!

Despite the unusually high volume, Marathon traffic is moving smoothly with no delays.

There's nothing scarier than a government employee driving around Lower Manhattan in a ghost car.

Many New Yorkers are terrified their favorite candidate will lose. Relax. You can still win by biking to the polls on Halloween and getting a limited edition Halloween sticker.

If pedestrians aren't safe on a raised sidewalk, the @NYC_DOT & @NYPDPC have failed New Yorkers.

Motorists continue to maim or kill pedestrians while police focus on e-bikes.

This weekend, 200 firehouses are holding open house events. Children throughout the 5 boroughs are invited to meet on-duty firefighters and sit in a firetruck.

Can the @FDNY pretend to be a good neighbor and not park on the sidewalk for 1 day? The answer may surprise you.

. @instagram is accepting money from criminals when they allow these scofflaws to run sponsored ads for forged placards.
October 18, 2025 at 1:41 PM
The Mayoral debate had a question about how to address @placardabuse!

@CurtisSliwa: "we don't have police" + rant about e-bikes

@ZohranKMamdani: "showcase accountability is true"

@andrewcuomo: "Recall all City placards and only reissue those that are bonafide on day 1"

The only noticeable change is a reduction of @placardabuse.bsky.social on Adams St.

2024 VS Today

Plenty of vehicles were ticketed today, but I only saw one that had a placard.

Both license plates were hidden from speed cameras. The other illegally parked placard vehicles were given a pass by NYPD traffic.

This appears to be a fake crackdown.

The sidewalks, bike lanes, and bus lanes of Downtown Brooklyn continue to blocked by city workers

A @FedEx driver decided to cover his license plate with stickers to avoid red light cameras.

I helped them out by removing both of these illegal obstructions.

Maybe @FedExHelp should reconsider their relationship with Level Logistics.

A taxi driver crashed outside the Chinese consulate.

"Investigators believe the crash was accidental", but the vehicle has a long history of speeding violations. It’s an unfortunate but not surprising result of such reckless driving.

A scary incident occurred at the Jay St Metrotech Station when a track fire caused the station to fill with smoke.

The @fdny.bsky.social response was delayed due to illegally parked vehicles on Jay St. They couldn't even access the curb due to @nypdnews.bsky.social vehicles parked at a bus stop.
