another problem i'm having with endfield is the... arknights part of it. it seems like most of the people rly into it played the original and even refer to the characters with their names from that game? im not playing a whole other gacha to understand this one... they gotta explain this better

i genuinely do like endfield but this is the most confused game i've played in recent memory. tonally, aesthetically, directionally... like everything about this experience feels strange and at odds but i don't know how to describe it

i think single player live service/gacha games still confuse me conceptually. like... my brain just.. wants this to be a single player game that ends and gets DLC later not a game i have to play every day. i just dont rly get this

i guess this is only something u care about if youre mentally ill but god i hate how prominently every single gacha game displays your random UID number string as if u had any choice in wat numbers ur stuck with. why isnt this just a backend thing? i hate seeing it

i really wish Endmin used guns or arts units and had will main stat + intellect substat or something. making endmin a sword wielding agility/strength unit feels like a betrayal of their character to force them to be yet another one-handed sword wielding gacha MC and it peeves me a bit lol
