I will never forget having to edit Jamal’s final, posthumous piece for the Washington Post, after he was murdered.

He was calling for free expression in the Arab world. You can read it here :

Opinion | Jamal Khashoggi: What the Arab world needs most is free expression
The Arab world needs a modern version of the old transnational media so citizens can be informed about global events.

The decision has to survive an appeal.

But this is nevertheless very good.

"We The People" is both an opening and a dare. Brettschneider, a professor of political science, puts the phrase under a microscope, showing how five specific threats to American democracy throughout U.S. history have tested those words, how fragile the idea they stand for is, and how powerful they can become.

Donald Trump’s vengeance presidency is also extremely tacky

Especially awful is that Trump is fooling around with our treasures... the possessions of a free people. A humble servant he is not.

The DOJ is suing California over Prop 50, saying it's a "brazen power grab that tramples on civil rights and mocks the democratic process."

Nothing mocks democracy like a president ordering red states to gerrymander while prosecuting a blue state for letting its voters decide.

Solidarity! We stand with Starbucks workers.
As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

It's not a coincidence that pretty much all of Trump's political opponents are being accused of the same thing by the unethical attorneys now doing his bidding at DOJ. It's the Department of Injustice now.
FOX: Fox can now confirm that Eric Swalwell has been criminally referred to the DOJ accused of mortgage fraud.

Neither condition for a mandatory recount is satisfied anymore. There won't be a recount. Also, Harrell conceded today. He knows he's done.

But it's FNC and they are not real journalists. They don't fact check, let alone in real time.
you could fact check this — there aren’t 30 million illegal immigrants and there is no evidence that the presence of an immigrant in say houston has any impact on housing in madison, wisconsin — or you could note straightforwardly that this is just nazi rhetoric
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."
