The guy is an idiot. Always has been. His one skill is motivating smart people to do smart things. He is useless when it comes to anything interfacing with humans though.

Except she didn't "call for unity". She was asked to say something about encouraging unity and her response was to say there should be unity and that people should protest peacefully. Even though the peaceful protesters seem to get shot.

Of course they are not. For most people tax changes don't make much difference to their monthly income.
