Hans Hermann has died, age 97. He was teammate to Moss and Fangio in the 54-55 Mercedes team, but his day of days came with Richard Atwood, on the right here, putting the Porsche 917 in victory lane at Le Mans in 1970. He missed the win by 390 feet in 1969 to Jackie Ickx.
