Hahaha feel free to ask! I promise I've done colored pencils before and been equally confused 😅 but they're genuinely so much fun and very forgiving once you get the hang of them!

To deal with the graphite bleed, what I usually do is erase the sketch lightly with a regular (or kneaded) eraser. That way you can still see what you drew, but the graphite doesn't bleed as much!

Of course! So for brush pens if you want maximum line variation, I recommend the Kuretake brush pen and the Tombow Fudenosuke pen. For fine liners, the Copic and the Micron are both good! If you're gonna get fine liners, go for a variety of tip sizes!

Alternatively, the reason that the black is bleeding so much when you blend is because the faber castell formula is made for that purpose, so using another brand like Crayola to outline instead could help!
