That’s like trying to justify the Life is Strange DLC episodes as qualified to be perceived as a new & diffferent “game.”
If you need to own/play a game to access said “game” (DLC) then it is not a game.
It’s a patch to an already existing game. Not a game itself.

If you need to own/play a game to access said “game” (DLC) then it is not a game.
