Lost on dark paths of ignorance
We scroll through the six worlds,
From dark path to dark path
When shall we be free?

“Oh for for the Zazen of the Mahayana” - I don’t think we’ve ever needed it more than in this current age of infoshum.

Drinking fresh spring rain.

Mind blown - I never knew there was a fourth monkey. 1) see no evil 🙈 2) hear no evil 🙉 3) speak no evil 🙊 and 4) do no evil.

Along with doing good, a lifelong practice.

Soaked with compassion,
all the way down.
Although we don’t always see it -
this path.

Self forgotten.
Before getting up to serve all beings, he has a rest,
The best of rests.

‘Each coral branch reflects the moon’.

I never found this Koan easy to connect with, but when you see 400 years of branching coral growth up close, in all its diversity, it’s pretty clear - we are all the moon.

The joy of lorikeets
Still to be heard -
Even through broken ears

Excited to see this book coming to fruition. A Community Builder's Journal, where you learn about community work and get to reflect on and practice it, throughout the year. It's been a great project to work on with co-authors at Community Praxis Co-op!

Oh my goodness, missed my flight in Heathrow for Milan due to my own tiredness & muddle headedness and missing any reminders maybe due to deafness. A kind Bodhisattva at the service desk arranged a ticket for me on the next flight. Jet lag is an interesting phenomena.
