Also, we tried this with Medicare Part D where seniors have to shop for a plan. It's impossible for most to figure out. Our council on aging had to add staff who are trained and certified to navigate the plans and help people find something that will actually cover their needs.

And the Republican plan is what? That you start to haggle with the nurse in the ER? Or you go to a different ER until you find one that's cheap? Utter madness.
