It would have been better for them to lock Trump in a pit in the ground and not tell anyone where he was, than to do what they did and condemn all of the rest of us to this horror show. Which will absolutely get worse before it gets better.

In both separate situations incrementalism has failed. Infrastructure is nowhere at all levels. Policing is out of control everywhere. We constantly have to fight our own cities to do the right thing. And the cops seem to run everything and control the mayors like every time.

I’m just not sure it does in my city. The question is purely one of “is it enough?”
If your city-level or county-level changes aren’t enough, it doesn’t matter what they are, not really. All is does is slow how quickly we lose our rights. That isn’t enough. We have to expect more of ourselves.

That means if our governors aren’t doing everything they can to stop and reverse voter suppression so their voters are suppressed & ours aren’t, that’s a blown opportunity.
This is not the time to play nice or take it easy. The governors must help try to destroy & outlaw the whole GOP. Play dirty.
