What with the Eurovision crown passing from Switzerland to Austria, surely it's time for the EBU to bend their own rules for eligibility and give Leichtenstein a go next year. 🤔🇱🇮

BBC R2 #SoundsOfTheSixties this morning played all ten UK 60s entries in order, interspersed across the show. On BBC Sounds. Good stuff. 👍

I cannot deny that what I'm looking forward to tonight the most is Topo Gigio announcing the Italian jury 12. He was huge when I was a kid (a long time ago it was). 🐁🇮🇹 #Eurovision

Re-watching the semis, is this the first year that the presenters have said "ESC" so much? It just seemed like it, but maybe I've not been paying attention.🙂 #ESC

Enjoyed the first #Eurovision semi, happy with the results. Don't like to be negative but I thought a lot of the interval(s) stuff was woeful and lacking in imagination. Hope they're keeping the best stuff for Saturday.

Almost half a century on this remains my favourite Song For Europe/Making Your Mind Up/etc losing UK final entry. At least Mary got her moment of fame a few months later in 1977 with "Angel Of The Morning" cracking the top 30.

Health issues have prevented me posting much about ESC 2025 so far, but I do have to say that I was not expecting so many 90s retro dance bangers in the line up. A very happy development.
