I know it's not the same reason as yours, but Missouri sent me a tax bill because a court ruling changed the way a law had to be interpreted, so I suddenly retroactively owed money with a penalty. I filed an amended return to fix it.

Older people are the ones who love real paper holiday cards the most, but they're also the ones most likely to come back marked "Deceased", and sometimes that's the only way you find out. It's still good to spread happiness before then.

If it looks like they used your artwork as a base and just touched it up, that should be disclosed to the competition. If it looks like a complete redraw (not a trace) just using the same aspects as what you had, that's probably OK, though it would have been nice to get some credit.

Sorry it's so frustrating. Weight loss is a complicated topic. Personally, I found good results when I started paying attention to sugar content in what I was eating, but I'm sure that's just one factor in general.
