I’ve never worked with neoprene, but I would try a blind stitch with glue/liquid seam or tape. I’d definitely have to experiment a bit to find the best solution, and the best technique.

While I haven’t had the surgery you had, what I can say is that there were a few things afterwards I enjoyed more than I expected: Taking a shower, getting the damned catheter taken out, and sleeping in my own bed. You’ll have to wait on that last one, but you realize what you take for granted!

Exactly the same story as mine. Life isn’t a competition, and I found happiness once I stopped using others’ successes as a baseline for measuring the outcomes in my life.
