I’m confused, is he going to continue representing Jonathan Ross?

Someone somewhere is wondering what a Pog is, and what the actual fuck a Slammer might be.

Hmmm. I suppose it could be concurrent connections on the database. They tend to have a max number of connections, but it’s often arbitrary. He could contact his hosting provider and ask for a temporary increase in database connections. He may as well request additional resources, while he’s at it.

Oof. You can’t even add to cart. Yeah, we’ve gotta get this legend up and running again. No charge, obviously.

I reached out through the contact form on the website. I hope he gets back to me.

Crap. I get it when I try to select additional pages while browsing through the store.

So, this looks like a caching thing. It looks like the website has a static cached version that’s available to the web, but the actual database connection (that drives the website) is broken.

What a powerful photo.

Looking through the catalog now. Unfortunately, the search feature returns a Database Connection Error. Probably just a password mismatch in a config file.

Kind of a stretch, but if he needs help fixing that, I can take a look.

Idk, Bella wore a bow. In the past people have worn bows to show support for world events but this just seems to be a fashion choice. So idk, this whole post seems kind of stupid.

Nah, the Swiss Guard can dress like that because they’re absolute badasses. ICE uniforms should be orange and say FELON across the back.

Bonus internet points to anyone who has insights or recommendations related to slapping any of these cameras onto a similar-quality telescope. I found mounts but imagine there are nuances to get the best picture quality. I don’t have any experience there, so any insight is helpful.

Recap:

Dear photographer friends,
Please lend me your knowledge, wisdom, and opinions. Please geek out about your favorite cameras and lenses in this thread; I’d like to hear it all. This will be for someone who prefers full and medium formats, with 20+ years experience.

Thanks, I appreciate you!

I took a quick look at Leica but was surprised at the cost of the camera bodies for the specs.

I’ve never owned a digital Leica; are they worth it? I have an old 35mm Leica I picked up at an estate sale, but it’s nothing to write home about. I don’t know anything about their glass; any good?

The Hasselblad X2DII is tempting (50 ISO!? HELLO!!) because she likes medium format, but I don’t know anything about their lenses; what are they comparable to? Any good?

I originally gravitated toward Sony because I know they use Zeiss glass, which is objectively cool.

The A1ii seems like an obvious choice as an all-around heavyweight, but I’m worried that I’m paying for speed over picture quality. She shoots nature/landscapes and is looking to expand into astrophotography. I don’t think that double-stacked sensor is intended for her, but would it hurt?

I’m hoping to broaden my brand horizons a bit, and could use some help. I started looking at the Sony a7VR but am wondering if I should wait a year for a newer sensor with better low light sensitivity. The new a7V seems great, but I was hoping for a higher pixel count. But idk, 33MP is a lot.
