I've stared out the plane window at Greenland a couple times. Figured I'll never get there.

Every time I hear about Bill Ackman, I think, how come I don't remember him? We were three years at the same undergrad dorm. But I think I had (probably he also had) the intuitive feeling, I'm *never* going to want to talk to *that* guy.

These are session musicians, short term contracts etc, but they're doing their jobs. For a KMart soundtrack. It's a job I guess, why not do it well. ♥️

Well, at least not here. Other parts of western WA maybe less lucky 🙁

It's really frustrating -- I think cyclists really should obey traffic signals, and then it seems like SDOT disagrees with me.

If you won't detect cyclists and leave the light red for them, then they *have* to run the red. Disappointing.

Example of why people discard outliers

Mill Creek is an interesting anomaly. Sultan also.

Fair. I don't think we really disagree. The danger isn't in the intersection, it's in the cars. Idk, I'm not going to argue here.

I'm going to disagree. For me as an urban cyclist I think that intersection is pretty easy to negotiate, and communicate with drivers. You can get into their line of sight and wave your way through.

I feel safe there, unlike the Roosevelt downhill bike lane from 45th, or from 65th, or from 75th

Bases are just representation.

You should have been a mathematician (I shoulda been a mathematician) and really understood the beauty of 8, in algebra and beyond.

That was strange. That's not a conversation. I think hardly any of those people meant the words they said in the way most of us understand. I certainly don't know what they meant to convey. In particular, families are weird.

It does get the clicks though.

So to treat the national parks as a product to sell, to maximize revenue, to provide access at the highest possible feed.

I don't like that.
