Additionally, the fact that there is no Japanese word that directly corresponds to MASK was one of the factors that increased the difficulty of the concept.

That said, it was an enjoyable two days fully immersed in concept work. 😃

The theme was MASK.
Early on, I tried to build the concept around a simple “MASK button,” but it didn’t hold.

The problem was hiding objects.
Once I shifted the focus to concepts—perception and meaning—the structure clicked.

MASK isn’t an action.
It reshapes how the world is seen.
