Executives have little time, are impatient, and often don't care about details/accuracy. AI is, like, made for them. It's a quick way to get *some* answer to a complex question, whether it's right or not. Or generate some BS (which is most of their job).

Is this based on more than just one Porsche ad? It's seemed to me that rich people, at least tech bros, genuinely love using AI themselves. Also, they want us all using AI because they're selling it. For money. You don't have to come up with any "to control us" conspiracy.

Update: the webpage is back now and they're saying they're only *definitely* cancelled through February. It sounds like they might just be leaving open the possibility of them returning.

He had an ideology. And that's even scarier. This put it better than I can: www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/the-...
Perspective | The Dick Cheney of ‘Vice’ just craves power. The reality was worse.
The former veep’s ideological agenda did far more damage than his quest for clout.

I'm getting "Sorry, you are not eligible for this special offer."

I double-checked that I'm logged in. Is this not available anymore, or is it a temporary issue, or is this just me?

That was on Firefox. On Chrome, I got this:
Type: TypeError
Message: Failed to execute 'text' on 'Response': body stream already read
Stack: TypeError: body stream already read
It was the first time I've tried to submit a tag, so maybe it has something to do with that?

But if they pulled him aside after they scanned his ticket, why are we assuming it was facial recognition and not, like, name recognition on his ticket?

Yeah I think they're against all of those things

Wtf? What is this safety feature called?

This is the most asinine argument ever seriously put forward by people with fancy degrees. Why would the Constitution require the Senate to confirm cabinet members if every agency is simply a personal puppet of the President?
March 4, 2025 at 4:19 AM
So the ideal executive branch would be Trump personally doing everything. Popping up at your post office, your national park, your next TSA screening. The inconveniences of reality are the only reason we can't achieve this (yet 🤞).

"Since it would be impossible for the President to single-handedly perform all the executive business of the Federal Government, the Constitution also provides for subordinate officers to assist the President in his executive
duties."
