Just look at how clean that PCB etch came out. Guess I'm ordering parts to build a Wooly Mammoth pedal.

Got five boards with 15 pedal PCBs ready for etching. Several weird fuzz pedals, cab sim, filter, etc.
Now the hard part: build the BOMs and place an order for components.

Adventures in pedal building part 2: reprinted and etched the boards I made backwards. Learned I can very easily scrape the print off after etching with a razor blade. Much easier than toner transfer and scrubbing with acetone. I'll drill and cut them after I eat some food.

I've been toying with PCB etching for a bit now and I tried a new method. Instead of using glossy laser transfers I direct printed the copper with a UV printer. And it worked. The ink holds up to the etchant but can be removed with a fingernail.

Kid has a broken Tube Screamer. I tried to fix it. It's above my skillset to fix so I ordered up a PedalPCB Mean Green Metal Machine, fired up the art software, and got to printing. The finest resistors, caps, and transistors Tayda has to offer will be arriving soon...ish.

Monthly music roundup. Bunch of old favorites, two vaguely new, and on new release.

I'm sorry, getting a late start on #nonsensenovember. I'm going to try to post some new art nonsense this month. Might be 2D, 3D, auditory. Who knows.

Nothing scarier than seeing a "transparent PNG" with the "transparent" baked into the background.

I etched this EQD Arrows boost clone a few months ago. Finally got around to soldering the bits and bobs on. Yes, it looks like hot garbage, but it's my hot garbage. Not looking forward to the off board wiring. I already took my melatonin and it's past my bed time. I'll do it tomorrow.

got to doodle on a future custom bass idea. I want an Alembic Series 1, but not a small body style, more like the size of a Grabber, but 34"+ scale, with double P pickups, and an aluminum neck with a 2x2 headstock. I want all the inconvenience of having an XLR jack so no one wants to borrow it.

Anyone missing discs 5-8 of their still sealed Windows version 3.11 install floppies? They're at my house for some reason.

13 pedals, 38 knobs, 5 switches, 16 foot switches, and there's at least six more that didn't make it on this revision.
