And of course, just as a ticking clock for the urgency of Huntress Wizard needing to find a way back.

I mean, they are *doing* things, and gradually getting more and more desperate. But I think they show how much they're willing to do to save Finn to contrast with Fionna's insecurity that if she isn't able to help her friend all the time, then they'll give up on her.

Oh, I absolutely love it too, I've been enjoying the whole season a lot. It's more character focused than plot focused compared to season 1 probably, but I was never able to understand where the people saying "nothing happened" in any of these episodes were coming from.
