Ooh yeah, I think prose with occasional illustrations is awesome and something I wish a lot more of existed, I love the idea!

Mostly "in agony" and "not for months at a time" in my case. But two pages is more than one page, and one page is more than most people will ever do, AND it reads well, so great work as far as I'm concerned!

But! As an idea, for Halloween my partner and I did silly pen drawings of random spooky things based on dice rolls with short time limits and it really pushed me out of a lot of my drawing stress by forcing me to let go of my usual process

Step one: be bad at thing
Step two: get good at thing
Step three: be afraid of being bad again so keep doing thing same way that started working even though it becomes miserable
Step four: stop doing thing and feel like garbage about it
