Software developer. House husband. Problem.
@skywalker.thereforeiam.eu one more feature idea. The BlueSky website has a feature when you click on a hashtag that you can either search for the hash or search for posts with the hash by the current user. Useful way to filter posts by a user to just see Art with a certain tag or something.

It looked to me like the code was already putting thread continuation first. In this block of code in post_thread_model.cpp

While I'm talking about cool stuff in @skywalker.thereforeiam.eu , want to highlight this UI update in the latest release. The app added subtle shading to quoted posts and link previews.

At least not yet. Lol. Wait until it is super easy to do in the UI.

The list view type selection menu in Skywalker is exactly the thing I'd like to see for reply sorting as well.

Okay this is great. Have a couple suggestions.
1) would love to have the sort selection be inline like in RedReader instead of needing an entire pref page for it.

so having got to here, I'm currently stuck

?all history/artist=(.track info.artists:@1),playyear/artist|yearcount=(....count) :yearcount=1

I want to do a mongo $unwind and get rid of the nested results now, but not sure how in dactal to accomplish that. End goal= table with artistname, year, count
December 26, 2025 at 11:21 PM
so I've got here

all history /artist=(.track info.artists:@1),playyear /artist

where all history is the "2025 tracks all" query without the year filter. This gives me a nested list of artists + years played. Can't figure out the right aggregation syntax to count playyears.

Still seem to be getting those errors and something with release year does seem like it might be broken. When I go to listening history under overview, all releases, I have 10181 tracks but no songs. And under new releases I have nothing

@everynoise.bsky.social Not sure if this is a curio issue or if the Spotify API is having some problems today

@skywalker.thereforeiam.eu was wondering if there is a way when someone is muted or blocked to see why they were. Would be helpful when evaluating the usefulness of moderation lists.
November 12, 2025 at 4:02 PM
@skywalker.thereforeiam.eu another small bug but this one should be easy. A thread that starts with a large emoji also makes the thread icon big.
August 15, 2025 at 6:23 PM
@skywalker.thereforeiam.eu noticed that in the latest build, when I click on a post to view the thread, it now displays a couple pages down into the replies to the thread. I'd prefer it to either start at the post i clicked on or on the post in the thread immediately below what I clicked.

Very cool. Brings to mind some of my favorite can art ever from this Brouwerij West beer.

@skywalker.thereforeiam.eu some interesting cropping on the bottom of the inner border corners here. Completely non functional issue

May 28, 2025 at 6:58 PM
@skywalker.thereforeiam.eu some posts seem to have the share and copy text options disabled.
May 20, 2025 at 3:01 PM
Worked for me, but . . . When I first pasted it, the reply button wasn't there! Had to click around a bit, hide + show the keyboard and then the button appeared.

Doesn't matter the weather or the time of year. Like a gloomy day with a threat of rain . . . Yeah still insanely photogenic. The lurking clouds just add to the atmosphere.

@skywalker.thereforeiam.eu running the latest main code so this might be a known WIP bug, but some link previews aren't displaying and just leaving a huge white space.

Name a film that takes place where you're from.

Long gone and replaced with a movie theater and condos now.

So I've got . . . something. Interesting I seem to have replicated the white screen error in QT 6.8.2 with the link handler code. It works fine when skywalker isn't running but not when the app is in the background. The logs are not very helpful from what I can tell. I'm going to push up

so this is the error I'm getting now with my Activity Handler. Going to keep poking around with it but figured I'd share it in case it is something you've seen before.
April 9, 2025 at 4:18 PM
Looks like this in the app. And successfully sharing that photo with skywalker make it look like my code is what broke the activity handler so going to figure that out now
