Great crested grebes are PSL goth and I am in utter awe.
Two grebes float in the water. Their bright white chests and necks contrast with the autumnal ombre of orange to black feathers that adorn their bodies and fan out around their chins. A generous hedge of shiny black feathers crown their heads, complimenting their sharp, dark eyes and beaks.

I thought I'd be able to catch her sleeping cutely but as cats do she decided to lick her butt instead. At least she did look up for the camera.
