It's something I see a lot on Twitter, especially, and unfortunately, they're the ones who make the most noise. There are always controversies about everything, and you can hardly find a healthy conversation. (The Twitter algorithm also encourages this, so...)

I don't know, it's quite sad to see the trenches the fandom has become, a relentless battle to hate and discredit absolutely everything. I remember when the pilot came out how excited people were, and now, all that's left is hate and hatewatch.
