Such an infuriating time. I think, like, why are we terrifying fishermen abroad, calling Somali-Americans “garbage,” protecting pedos in the Epstein Files, screw-in Ukraine, etc and it’s because the only thing the median American cares about is cheap little treats. One could become very nihilistic.

Bama fan here; went to the playoff game against UW in 2016 where Kiffin’s offense was totally unprepared because he had solely focused on the FAU job he’d just landed. Kiffin was locked out of the facility the next week. Ole Miss did the right thing, Kiffin is too immature to be trusted to lead them

My experience is very minimal, I was only an 8th grade teacher for a year (hated it) and have helped a professor in a couple of grad courses (not a TA tho). The prompt was a bit vague IMO, only in the sense that it gave enough room for this kind of BS. Dog shit essay probably worthy of like a 50 lol

Please note I’m dumb and not at all an expert on AI, but I kind of can’t believe OpenAI’s deal with Microsoft. Even if their AI is the greatest ever and does everything they think, I still think it’s just going to end up being rolled into Microsoft lol

I’ve seen a video floating around from DHS of some white guy at a rally or something saying some very dumb stuff. I’m guessing it’s these guys. Plotting terrorism seems absurd if so, but who knows

I believe this “horse acts as delivery vehicle” is accurate and lasted quite some time. My granddad always told me his first job in his city (outside Birmingham, Al) as a kid was helping deliver ice blocks via horse and buggy (maybe wrong term here) in the late 1920s/early 1930s lol.

Cheap, reliable, unlimited customization, lightweight (in most formats), light recoil. It’s funny because most attempts to build a better comparable rifle tend to end up making something markedly worse (like the M7)

Did those of you in academia know that your university leadership were a bunch of cowards, or is this genuinely surprising? I knew as an MLIS student at LSU, when the Louisiana GOP wanted to pull their ALA accreditation, that our school was led by complete cucks based on how they responded.
