Professional IT nerd, amateur photographer, shining wit. Once managed to get 2 answers right in Only Connect but it made my brain hurt for days. I will block or play with any suspected non human interlocutors.
Poor cat has an entire arm fall off at the very end of the video. I think that must've been acid, not water.

As mentioned before, extension tubes are a relatively cheap way into macro photography. Even though there's no optics don't buy a cheap one because it won't last. 2nd hand Kenko (no, not the coffee it's a different company) are a good way to start.

It's hanging in the sky in much the same way that bricks don't.

This earthquake prediction chart is the best I've seen by a landslide.

If you're referring to 'necessary and sufficient conditions' then I still don't think that 'stronger' is the right word to use for Boolean logic.

As she was called Jemima surely you should mime her?

And think of all the time you'd save by not having to write lyrics.

How could they wear a gorilla suit and still fly what was an experimental aircraft? Unless it was without the feet and hands with the body used for insulation?

Also anything below the shoulders wouldn't be visible to onlookers even in an open cockpit, so it seems a little pointless?

A mask, maybe.

I went on a bus today, and can confirm they have a back door. In my case it was labelled Emergency Exit.

If you play Weekend at Bernies in slow motion you can make it last the whole week.

Ironically that's exactly how long the film feels when played at normal speed.

This is why contemporary stories start with electromagnetic signal loss.

Think of all the plots ruined by someone with a phone calling for urgent help, or lost in the forest then remembering they have GPS.

Going on a long quest to remote a area seeking knowledge of the wise one - meh, Google it.

I see the police have turned up.

I find their knowledge of time travel law is very poor. And I'm thinking of the plain clothes officer who tried to hide from me the other day by going into his little blue flashy light police box.

Are the crew paid more when they work over time?

If you're not sure you can always use HDR. It's cheating as it's supposed to be for high contrast shots, but while you're learning it can be useful to have 3 different exposures of the same scene.

Also turn on the histogram when you're reviewing your pictures to see if you need to adjust anything.

Me: Obviously photoshopped because there's no ropes, scaffolding, safety equipment, PPE etc...

Checks date. Oh yeah I forgot workers were more expendable back then. Although if they were injured I bet they'd find a legal representative really quickly....

That poor bus driver's steering has to be so accurate, a few centmetres either way and the bus is derailed, er I mean debussed.

No wonder they keep them far away from the other vehicles.

Security needs to change with new exploits. But this risks confusing users.

For example the IT Dept said:
Changing passwords regularly is more secure. Oh sorry, it wasn't.

2fa can use text messages. Oh, sorry SIM swap is a bigger problem.

Ignore unknown emails = drop potential new customer leads.

What's the point of going on the Eurotunnel if you can't open a hatch and feed the fishes?

You might as well take the ferry across the Channel and hold bread over the side. At least you'd have a chance to reach out and tickle a dolphin or whale as it eats from your hand.
